Coverage applies only when You charge the full or partial cost of Your Trip to the Primary or Family Cardholder’s Mastercard Card prior to departure.

This card is particularly advantageous for people who often use reward tickets (AIR MILES, Aeroplan, etc.) since insurance applies even if only part of the trip’s cost is charged to the card (e.g. taxes and surcharges for a reward ticket)!

Reimbursement of up to $2,500 per insured to a maximum of $5,000 per account.

• the costs charged by the rental agency as a result of loss of use of the vehicle while it is being repaired;
• Reasonable and customary charges for towing the Rental Vehicle to the nearest location.

This coverage does not include any form of automobile liability, bodily injury or property damage insurance. It is the Insured Person’s responsibility to obtain suitable liability insurance, either through his/her own automobile insurance policy or by accepting the insurance offered by the rental agency.
