Then, as of May 12, 2023, the Homeland Security Department states that it :
will no longer require non-U.S. travelers entering the United States via land ports of entry and ferry terminals to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide related proof of vaccination upon request.
All of this will also end the state of health emergency in the U.S. related to COVID-19, which was in effect since January 2020.
