To the point All Canadian banks - or credit card companies - offer one or more rewards programs. It may be a program with which they are affiliated such as Aeroplan or AIR MILES, or it may be a program that is completely specific to them.

Canadian Banks’ Rewards Programs

Not sure which reward program to choose? Don’t know which bank offers which type of program? Here is a general summary of who is offering what! And remember: just because you’re a customer of one bank doesn’t mean you can’t get a credit card from another bank! This is very useful when you are a fan of Aeroplan or AIR MILES which are offered by several banks!

As you will see, all institutions, without exception, offer a cash back program, or a rewards program (travel, gift cards, in-store items…).

Only some of them are affiliated with Aeroplan (American Express, CIBC and TD) or AIR MILES (American Express, BMO). Finally, others offer unique rewards programs.
