GHA Discovery Program
The GHA DISCOVERY program is the loyalty program of the Global Hotel Alliance group. It brings together more than 800 hotels in over 100 countries, including the best-known brands, Anantara, Kempinski and Viceroy.
You’ll earn rewards to spend at any of the GHA DISCOVERY member hotels, which are over 40 independent hotel brands worldwide.
You will find luxurious hotels of all sizes with all types of environments and atmospheres. In this guide, you will find the group’s establishments, the currency of accumulation, the statutes and their advantages, and how to benefit from privileged offers.

The Anantara brand
The name Anantara comes from the Sanskrit word meaning “endless.” In this way, the brand wanted to show the infinite possibilities that exist when you choose to stay in one of its establishment’s thanks to the exceptional service provided.

Earn points
The GHA Discovery program is simple. When you join, you can earn DISCOVERY Dollars or D$, the program’s reward currency, on your stays and other purchases at all GHA DISCOVERY member hotels.
The higher your GHA DISCOVERY status, the higher the percentage of DISCOVERY Dollars you will earn – ranging from 4% to 7%.
Cash exchanges and refunds are not included. The amount will be converted into D$ currency according to the exchange rate selected by GHA DISCOVERY.
Redeem points
You can use DISCOVERY Dollars to pay your hotel bill (including room, meal, spa or golf fees) or for experiences in the GHA DISCOVERY program.
Each DISCOVERY dollar (D$) is worth $1.
Members can redeem as little as 10 DISCOVERY Dollars (D$10). This way, you can quickly redeem to save on your stays.

GHA DISCOVERY Experiences are unique activities designed to immerse you in the local culture. You can choose from 5 different categories, with activities ranging from cooking classes and dining experiences to spa treatments and museum tours.

You can get experiences no matter your status level in the GHA DISCOVERY program, and you can use DISCOVERY Dollars to buy yourself an experience.
Status
When you register, you are awarded Silver status. Depending on your purchases, this can be upgraded to three membership levels in the GHA DISCOVERY program.
All members benefit from :
- 10% discount on the best rate offered,
- Exclusive access to local experiences and offers with up to 40% off the best rates,
- and free Wi-Fi.
Here are the 4 statuses of the GHA DISCOVERY program:

As a Business Traveller member, you can obtain the GHA DISCOVERY Platinum status free of charge.
Expiration of status
For new members of the GHA DISCOVERY program, the qualification period is based on a rolling year. For all other members, the qualifying year is based on the calendar year. Once you have achieved the next status level, it is valid for the next calendar year.
For example, if you are awarded GHA DISCOVERY Gold status in June 2023, you will retain that status until December 2024.
Credit cards
There are no credit cards available to earn DISCOVERY dollars.
However, you should know that most of the GHA DISCOVERY member hotels are accessible via the reservation platforms of certain high-end credit cards:

Use your Discovery Dollars to get a discount on your stay by adding them to your bill when you check out.
How long does it take to add my D$ to my account?
Count 48 hours after your stay to see your D$ applied to your account.
How do I check my Discovery Dollars balance?
You can check your D$ balance online at www.ghadiscovery.com or on your cell phone with the GHA DISCOVERY application.
Why download the GHA DISCOVERY application?
In addition to being able to view your D$ balance and track your rewards on the app’s dashboard, the app offers you the ability to chat with hotel staff.
