Since August 11, 2022, Scene+ has been implemented in grocery stores and pharmacies in Atlantic Canada. Since September 22, 2022, Scene+ has been introduced in Western Canada and selected businesses in Ontario.
The rollout went faster than expected in Ontario with a November 3, 2022, launch in Empire Company stores such as Sobeys and Foodland.
For Quebec, the changes took place on March 23, 2023. The Scene+ program is officially underway at IGA, IGA extra, Voilà by IGA, Rachelle Béry and Les Marchés Traditions since March 23, 2023.
Scene+ will also be deployed in liquor stores (Sobeys Liquor, Safeway Liquor, Thrifty Foods Liquor).

With Expedia’s Scene+ Travel, you can use your Scene+ points directly when booking your trip (hotel, flight ticket, car rental): 100 points = $1.

The standard exchange rate is 1,400 points = $10. But it may vary depending on the retailer and their current promotions. For example, with this Home Hardware gift card, which offers a better exchange rate: 1,000 points = $10.
You can use your Scene+ points to get a credit on your eligible debit or credit card account from Scotiabank.
As of June 19, 2023, for cardholders in the province of Quebec, the ratio will be the same as the rest of Canada, i.e., 14,500 points for a $100 account credit.
With the new Scene+ points system, you now need 1,250 points to get a movie for free.
Every eligible purchase from a program partner earns Scene+ points.
Then, with the points, you can get discounts at the grocery store, free movies, credits to pay off your trip, gift cards, merchandise, free meals at partner restaurants, and more.
You can go to the customer service counter at an IGA. Ask for the brochure, which will contain your future Scene+ card inside.
To redeem a trip or get a discount at IGA, Rachelle-Béry, Sobeys, Les marchés Tradition, Foodland, Safeway, etc., you need 1,000 points to get $10 in credit. So, 1 Scene+ point is worth 1 cent. This is one of the best ways to use the Scene+ program.
