Scene+ Promotion at IGA: Earn up to $50 in Points Every Week in October

From October 2 to 29, 2025, earn up to $50 in Scene+ points value each week on your groceries by combining multiple offers.

To encourage Scene+ members to activate offers in the IGA mobile app or on the My Offers IGA website, there are three promotions to earn points:

• Activate the offer to double the points shown in the flyer (value up to $25).
• Activate the personalized offer on your profile to earn 2,000 Scene+ points with a minimum purchase at IGA (value up to $20).
• Activate personalized offers on the products you buy most often (value up to $5).

For example, if you buy Lactantia cream cheese for $3.49 and 100 points, and you’ve activated the flyer offer to double your points, you’ll earn 200 Scene+ points. Since 200 Scene+ points are worth $2, it’s like getting your cream cheese for $1.49 ($3.49 – $2).

For fun, let’s say you have an offer for 2,000 Scene+ points when you spend $50 this week, you’ve activated the “Double Your Points” offer, and you love cream cheese. You will earn:

• 2,000 Scene+ points with a $50 purchase
• 15 x Lactantia cream cheese at $3.49 = $52.35
• 15 x 200 points (100 points x 2 with the Double Your Points offer) = 3,000 Scene+ points

The total will be $52.35 and 5,000 Scene+ points (worth $50). Of course, be sure to read the fine print to check the maximum number of Scene+ points you can earn with this promotion. This example may be a bit exaggerated, but it shows the potential for quickly earning points.

Plus, if you pay your $52.35 purchase with a Scotiabank Gold American Express Card, which earns 6X Scene+ points at IGA, you’ll get an additional 314 Scene+ points ($52.35 x 6 points per dollar). In total, you’ll earn 5,314 Scene+ points (314 + 5,000). This is equivalent to $53, so it’s like getting your cream cheese for free (and it freezes well, too!).

Don’t forget to earn even more points during the Scene+ Points Days event from November 7 to 9, 2025, at IGA.

Finally, from October 2 to 8, 2025 at Rachelle Béry, get:

• 375 Scene+ points with a purchase of $60 or more

Until October 31, 2025, earn 15x Scene+ points at restaurants:

• Kelseys
• Montana’s
• Bier Markt
• Harvey’s

For cinema and entertainment, included with every purchase:

• 5 Scene+ points per dollar on movie tickets at Cineplex
• 5 Scene+ points per dollar on food and beverages at Cineplex
• 5 Scene+ points per dollar on digital movie rentals or purchases at the Cineplex Store
• 1 Scene+ point per dollar on games, food, music and tickets at The Rec Room
• 1 Scene+ point per dollar on the purchase of tokens, beverages and snacks at Playdium complexes

Some Scotiabank bank accounts let you earn Scene+ points when you make purchases with your eligible debit card.

• Earn 1 point for every $5 in regular purchases with the Ultimate Package, Preferred Package, Student Banking Plan or Youth Horizon Savings Plan accounts.
