The Plaza Premium Lounge is located after security in Terminal 1 (international departures) at Kuala Lumpur Airport (KUL).
To find it, you have to go up to the Mezzanine level. The entrance is located near the C11-C17 gates.
The Plaza Premium Lounge is open 24 hours a day and is accessible for up to 3 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.
Access to the lounge is free for children under 2 years old.
Beyond this age, they are counted as a guest based on the level of Priority Pass membership offered by your credit card.

During our mini-RTW in one week, we were able to access this lounge when we left Kuala Lumpur for Singapore. In fact, we only spent a few minutes in this lounge to give you a glimpse, having preferred to maximize our 24-hour stopover in Kuala Lumpur.
The segment between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore (40 minutes flight) was in economy class on a Singapore Airlines A350. Although flights were available in business class earlier in the day (which was the travel class booked for our entire mini-RTW), the flight schedule we were interested in was only available in economic class.
So our choice was limited to the lounges offered by our Priority Pass and LoungeKey subscriptions obtained with our credit cards: we had no access to other business class lounges on Star Alliance!
After a 2-3 minute wait, we return to this Plaza Lounge in Kuala Lumpur, which is particularly busy at the end of the day.
Near the entrance is a bar where you will have free access to alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.
Although particularly busy, the lounge still has several seats in comfortable armchairs.
From this Plaza Premium Lounge, beautiful views are offered on the tarmac, from where you can see the Airbus A350 that will take us to Singapore.
Close to the entrance, there is a buffet separated into two sections.
There are cold and hot dishes, as well as an assortment of different drinks.
The buffet was mainly composed of Asian food. And alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
This Plaza Premium Lounge in Kuala Lumpur (international departures) allows you to eat and seat before your flight.
However, the fact that it is busy makes it noisy, which is not necessarily conducive to relaxation. This is to be considered if you have limited access to your credit card (such as the 6 annual pass offered by the Scotiabank Passport™ Visa Infinite*).
Since we have unlimited access to Priority Pass airport lounges with the Platinum Card® from American Express, it wasn’t a problem: we had a few drinks and snacks before heading to our gate to Singapore.
