Le salon Plaza Premium Lounge est situé après la sécurité dans le Terminal 1 (départs internationaux) de l’aéroport de Kuala Lumpur (KUL).

Pour le trouver, il faut monter au niveau Mezzanine. L’entrée est située à proximité des portes C11-C17.

Opening hours

The Plaza Premium Lounge is open 24 hours a day and is accessible for up to 3 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.

With the kids?

Access to the lounge is free for children under 2 years old.

Beyond this age, they are counted as a guest based on the level of Priority Pass membership offered by your credit card.

Lors de notre mini-tour du monde en une semaine, nous avons pu accéder à ce salon à notre départ de Kuala Lumpur en direction de Singapour. À vrai dire, nous n’avons passé que quelques minutes dans ce salon afin de vous en offrir un aperçu, ayant préféré maximiser notre escale de 24 heures à Kuala Lumpur.

Le segment entre Kuala Lumpur et Singapour (40 minutes de vol) s’effectuait en classe économique sur un A350 de Singapore Airlines. Là-aussi, bien que des vols étaient disponibles en classe affaires plus tôt dans la journée (qui était la classe de voyage réservée pour l’intégralité de notre mini-tour du monde), l’horaire du vol qui nous intéressait n’était disponible qu’en classe économique.

So our choice was limited to the lounges offered by our Priority Pass and LoungeKey subscriptions obtained with our credit cards: we had no access to other business class lounges on Star Alliance!

Our review of the Plaza Premium Lounge

After a 2-3 minute wait, we return to this Plaza Lounge in Kuala Lumpur, which is particularly busy at the end of the day.

Near the entrance is a bar where you will have free access to alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.

Although particularly busy, the lounge still has several seats in comfortable armchairs.

From this Plaza Premium Lounge, beautiful views are offered on the tarmac, from where you can see the Airbus A350 that will take us to Singapore.

Close to the entrance, there is a buffet separated into two sections.

There are cold and hot dishes, as well as an assortment of different drinks.

The buffet was mainly composed of Asian food. And alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Conclusion

Ce salon Premium Plaza Lounge de Kuala Lumpur (départs internationaux) permet de se restaurer et s’asseoir avant son vol.

Toutefois, le fait qu’il soit achalandé le rend bruyant, ce qui n’est pas forcément propice à la détente. Ce qui est à prendre en considération si vous disposez d’accès limités sur votre carte de crédit (comme les 6 accès annuels offerts par la Carte Visa Infinite Passeport Banque Scotia).

Vu que nous disposons de l’accès illimité aux salons d’aéroport Priority Pass avec la carte de Platine^MD d’American Express, ce n’était pas un problème: nous avons pris quelques boissons et snacks avant de nous diriger vers notre porte d’embarquement pour Singapour.
