Coverage applies only when you pay the full cost of your trip using the primary or co-applicant Mastercard when booking your trip.

Reimbursement of up to $1,500 per insured.

In the event of trip interruption, you will be reimbursed for the additional cost of a one-way economy airfare to your departure point or destination and the non-refundable, unused portion of ground transportation arrangements, up to a maximum of $2,000 per Insured.

Flight delay insurance provides compensation if the arrival or departure of your scheduled flight is delayed by more than four hours. You will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $500 per Account per Trip for reasonable additional expenses incurred for accommodation and travel.

Covers out-of-country medical expenses up to $5 million:

• Emergency evacuation or airlift

You receive coverage of up to $65,000 for risks associated with a Rental Vehicle, based on the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the vehicle’s model year, i.e. :

• damage to the rental vehicle;
• theft of the Rental Vehicle, its parts or accessories;
• the costs charged by the rental agency as a result of loss of use of the vehicle while it is being repaired;
• Reasonable and customary charges for towing the Rental Vehicle to the nearest location.

This coverage does not include any form of automobile liability, bodily injury or property damage insurance. It is the Insured’s responsibility to obtain suitable liability insurance, either through his or her own automobile insurance policy or by accepting the insurance offered by the rental agency.

Avoid paying for optional extended warranties on your next purchase using your BMO credit card. The original manufacturer’s warranty period is doubled, up to a maximum of one additional year.

Extra protection – goods purchased with the card are automatically insured against theft and damage for 90 days from the date of purchase.
