Save on gas with CIBC and Journie Rewards

Link your CIBC Dividend® Visa Infinite* Card with Journie Rewards. So when you pay for gas with this card, you save 3 cents per liter.

In addition, you earn 1 Journie point per liter of gas. When you have 300 Journie points, you get an additional 7 cents per litre on your next gasoline purchase within 30 days.

This is valid only at Ultramar, Pioneer, Fas Gas and Chevron gas stations in Canada.

How to claim your cash back

CIBC’s cash back calculation period is from January to December of each year. Cash back is earned monthly, but can be redeemed at any time during the year.

The CIBC Dividend® Visa Infinite* Cardholder must have at least $25 earned cash back to redeem it. Then it is applied to the account within 5 days after the application is submitted.

Every December, the cash back balance is automatically redeemed, regardless of the amount. The balance is reset to zero, in order to start a new year.
