To the point Discover Tangerine Credit Cards 2026: 2% Cash Back in 2 Categories of Your Choice, No Annual Fee. Detailed comparison and expert advice.

The Tangerine Bank offers two no-annual-fee credit cards that provide 2% cash back in two spending categories of your choice. This flexibility allows you to tailor your rewards to your spending habits, whether for groceries, gas, restaurants, or recurring payments.

Unlike several cards with fixed categories, you can select the categories that best suit your budget and even change them as needed. All other eligible purchases earn 0.5% cash back.

Tangerine cards are a simple and cost-effective option to maximize your everyday rewards, while keeping an eye on your transactions, purchases, and credit card account.

3 additional categories and get $120 as a welcome offer

Tangerine has added three cash back categories, increasing the current selection from 10 to 13 categories. The new categories are:

  • E-Games
  • Fitness and Sports Clubs
  • Foreign Currency Purchases

This gives you more opportunities to maximize your cash back on frequent expenses, such as a gym membership, or even occasional ones if you plan to use your Tangerine credit card abroad during a trip. You can change these categories every 90 days to adapt them to your purchases and track these changes directly on your card account via your monthly statement.

In addition, the Tangerine® Money-Back World Mastercard®* features a new promotional offer: get $120 when you spend $1,500 within the first three months. This limited-time offer allows you to fully benefit from the total net purchases posted and manage your payments, while taking into account any fees, insurance premiums, and adjustments related to your account.

Furthermore, it is important to be familiar with the credit card agreement, the payment due dates indicated, and the minimum payment required to fully enjoy your benefits without fees, insurance, or other additional adjustments.
