To the point ALL Accor Live Limitless will become the third hotel partner for American Express Membership Rewards in Canada. Transfer ratio, Reward point value, and Fairmont stays: here is what you need to know.

Good news for rewards enthusiasts: the transfer of American Express Membership Rewards points to ALL Accor Live Limitless is coming to Canada this summer. Indeed, the conversion option appeared on July 17, 2026, on the Accor website, as spotted by Loyalty Lobby.

ALL Accor will thus become the program’s third hotel partner, after Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton Honors. To find out which cards earn this flexible currency, consult our best American Express Membership Rewards cards.

A Third Hotel Partner for Amex

The American Express Membership Rewards program had six transfer partners in Canada since the departure of Etihad Guest last month. With the arrival of ALL Accor Live Limitless, the program is back up to seven partners.

On the hotel side, ALL Accor joins Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton Honors. Furthermore, Accor indicates that transfers will be activated at American Express Canada during the summer of 2026.

Transfer Ratio and Point Value

The conversion rate is set at 2 Membership Rewards points for 1 ALL Reward point. Thus, 1,000 Membership Rewards points yield 500 Reward points, with a minimum transfer of 1,000 points. Minimums and maximums apply, on eligible cards only.

Hotel PartnerTransfer Ratio1,000 Membership Rewards points yield
Marriott Bonvoy1 000 : 1 2001,200 points
Hilton Honors1 000 : 1 0001,000 points
ALL Accor Live Limitless (new)1 000 : 500500 Reward points

The 2:1 ratio may seem low at first glance. However, Reward points have a fixed value of approximately 2 euro cents each: 2,000 points provide a €40 discount on a stay. At the current exchange rate, each transferred Membership Rewards point is therefore worth approximately 1.6 Canadian cents.

Consequently, a card that earns 5 points per dollar in certain categories, such as the American Express Cobalt® Card, can generate a return of approximately 8% in hotel value.

Depending on the card used, the return varies from 1.6% to 8% on eligible purchases when you transfer them to ALL Accor.

How to Transfer Your Membership Rewards Points

The process remains the same as for other partners: first link your ALL account to your American Express account, then convert your points online. Moreover, our tutorial details every step with screenshots.

Fairmont and Accor in Canada

For many Canadians, Accor is synonymous with Fairmont. Indeed, the iconic chain belongs to Accor and fully participates in the ALL program. Your Reward points therefore reduce the bill at the Château Frontenac, the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, or the Fairmont Tremblant.

The group also has Novotel and Sofitel hotels in Ontario and Quebec, an MGallery address in Vancouver, as well as the Rimrock in Banff, soon to be integrated into the Emblems Collection.

In addition, the Fairmont Gold experience and Gold status via the Accor Shareholders Club allow you to enhance your stays.

Other New Features of the ALL Program

The Canadian announcement is part of a series of changes at Accor, which also launched the ALL accor+ subscription earlier this year. Here are the essentials of the new conversion partnerships:

  • American Express Hong Kong: 25 Membership Rewards points = 1 Reward point
  • Kenya Airways (Asante Rewards): 3,000 Reward points = 1,000 Asante miles; 3,000 Asante miles = 1,000 Reward points
  • IndiGo BluChip: 3,000 Reward points = 2,000 BluChips; 6,000 BluChips = 1,000 Reward points
  • Telstra Plus (Australia): conversion of Reward points into Telstra Plus points, applicable to the bill
  • Max Miles (HeyMax): new rate of 3 HeyMax points for 2 Reward points, instead of 1,000 for 1,000

Our Analysis

Membership Rewards remain the most flexible rewards currency in Canada. With ALL Accor, you get one more hotel option, particularly useful in Canada and Europe, where the Accor group has a strong presence.

However, the value of approximately 1.6 cents per point remains lower than what transfers to Aeroplan can offer on award flights. Therefore, reserve this type of transfer for stays where a simple and predictable discount suits you, and transfer only the necessary points.
