Aeroplan announced last April a multi-year partnership with Chexy, an innovative Canadian financial technology company that will enable members to earn points on their essential spending.
Before the arrival of Chexy, certain major expenses such as rent were not eligible for points, as it was not possible to pay by credit card. For other types of payment, such as taxes, it was necessary to use services such as Plastiq or PaySimply; Chexy offers this service for Visa and American Express cards. Thanks to this agreement, Aeroplan members can now convert their major expenses into valuable travel points.
To mark the occasion, Chexy and Aeroplan are launching an interesting offer to collect even more points. This was due to end on July 15, 2025, but has been extended to September 15, 2025!

To mark this partnership, Aeroplan has launched an exclusive offer for new Chexy users, enabling them to earn up to 10,000 points Aeroplan by completing the following actions:
Aeroplan and Chexy are also launching a referral offer; each Chexy user can earn 1,000 points for each new Chexy user who completes a payment over $50, for a total of 10 referrals per Chexy account.

Chexy allows its users to earn points and rewards on every dollar spent on these types of payments.

Chexy charges a fee of 1.75%, so it’s important to choose your credit card carefully.
To get the most out of this service, we recommend :
This can also be a good opportunity to unlock a welcome offer from credit cards that require higher spending, such as paying taxes or rent. For example, paying $2,000 a month in rent can earn a total of 24,000 points a year with the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite* Cardor 30,000 points with a high-end card like the American Express® Aeroplan®* Reserve Card.
Combined with welcome offers, this will earn you enough points for round-trip flights to many destinations. Check out our guide to 10 destinations to fly to with 55,000 Aeroplan points to inspire your next trip.
With the launch offer, this partnership between Aeroplan and Chexy offers an additional way to reach rewards goals faster, and earn rewards or award flights. Combined with other partnerships such as Uber, LCBO, or with the eStoreit becomes easier to earn enough points for award flights on over 45 airlines to more than 1,300 destinations.
