How to Redeem PC Optimum Points

You can redeem your PC Optimum points the following ways:

  • In person at participating stores (Pharmaprix, Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws-owned grocery stores, Esso, and Joe Fresh)
  • Online at participating websites for Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix, JoeFresh.ca, and PC Express
  • For a statement credit if you have a PC Financial credit card
  • For a donation to President’s Choice Children Charity or Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health

Redeem PC Optimum points – In person

You can redeem your PC Optimum points in person at participating Shoppers Drug Marts, Pharmaprix, Esso, Joe Fresh stores, and Loblaws-brand grocery stores (like Loblaws, Maxi, No Frills, and many more).

To redeem, simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to a participating store.
  2. Shop like normal.
  3. When you’re at the check-out, scan your PC Optimum card and let the cashier know that you’d like to redeem your points. If you’re using a self-checkout lane, you’ll see the option to redeem on the screen.
  4. Redeem increments of 10,000 points for $10 off your total.

Redeem PC Optimum points – Online

You can also redeem your PC Optimum points online at participating websites like JoeFresh.ca, Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix websites, and PC Express.

To use your points for an online transaction, just follow these steps:

  1. Go to a participating website and log in to your PC Optimum account using your PCid.
  2. Shop like normal.
  3. When you’re ready to check-out, you’ll see an option to “Redeem points.”
  4. Select the number of points you’d like to redeem. Remember that 10,000 PC Optimum points are worth $10 off your total.

Redeem PC Optimum points – For a statement credit

In order to redeem your PC Optimum points for a statement credit, you first need to be a PC Financial credit card holder.

If you have the PC® Mastercard®, PC® World Mastercard®, the PC® World Elite Mastercard®, or the PC Insiders™ World Elite Mastercard®, you can redeem 10,000 PC Optimum points for a $7 statement credit.

To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your PC Financial account and navigate to the PC Mastercard that you’d like to use.
  2. Click “Redeem Points.”
  3. Choose the number of points you’d like to redeem, following the prompts on the screen.
  4. After you’ve redeemed, you’ll receive an email confirmation for your records.

Redeem PC Optimum points – For a donation

If you don’t have any need for your accumulated PC Optimum points and you’re feeling generous, you can donate your points to a charity.

To donate your PC Optimum points, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your PC Optimum account through the website or app.
  2. Click on the “Points” menu item.
  3. Select “Donate your points.”
  4. Choose a charity from the list and confirm how many points you would like to donate.
  5. Click “Donate points” to finish the donation!

PC Optimum Bonus Redemption Events

If you’re interested in maximizing the value you can get from your PC Optimum points, we recommend timing your redemptions with a PC Optimum Bonus Redemption Event.

These special redemption events typically happen a few times a year and often line up with big shopping days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
