As of October 2023, Aeroplan Members can earn up to 12,000 additional points when booking an Air Canada Vacation. Today, Air Canada Vacations announces that this is now in effect until December 31, 2025.

This offer applied to selected packages in Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe and the United States. Now there’s even more choice!

Eligible members can earn these additional Aeroplan Points by booking a minimum 7-night stay on a selection of over 280 vacation packages, earning more Aeroplan Points on 14 new destinations and 75 packages. This includes Rome, London, Lisbon, Asia, Australia, India and Dubai.

Here is an example for a few destinations:

• Air Canada Vacations in Europe: 4,000 bonus points on tours to Spain, Ireland and Venice.
• Las Vegas: 4,000 bonus points on selected packages, with a minimum four-night stay
• United States: Up to 12,000 bonus points on selected packages in Orlando, Miami and Hawaii (minimum seven-night stay).
• Caribbean Mexico and United States: Up to 12,000 bonus points on over 260 vacation packages, minimum seven-night stay
• Europe Tours: 4,000 additional Aeroplan points in Spain, Ireland and Venice;
• European flight and hotel packages: 4,000 additional Aeroplan points for London, Lisbon and Rome (minimum 7 nights);
• Tours in Asia, Australia, Dubai and India: 4,000 additional Aeroplan points.

Air Canada Vacations allows you to earn points on the flight portion of a trip booked on their platform. Now there’s another way to earn extra points on packages.

Here are the terms and conditions:

• Eligible for members aged 13 and over on departure date
• Aeroplan members aged 2 to 12 will receive 50% of Aeroplan points
• Valid on selected packages booked through the Air Canada Vacations website, the Air Canada Vacations call center or any eligible travel agent.
• Each Aeroplan Member’s account number must be included in the reservation prior to travel.
• Points will be awarded 6 to 8 weeks after the vacation is over.

When you search for a vacation package on the Air Canada Vacations site, you can see how many extra points will be paid out, after clicking on the hotel.

As of August 28, 2023, to achieve Aeroplan Elite status, Air Canada Vacations offers 25% SQD on vacation packages. All this while continuing to accumulate SQMs and SQSs as usual.

Status Qualification Dollars (SQD) accumulate at a rate of 25% of the total cost per Aeroplan Member, including all taxes and fees, of the eligible vacation package. An eligible vacation package includes flights or flights and a cruise, for which the Aeroplan Member is responsible.
