Go to VacationsbyMarriott.com and book a vacation package combining hotel and flight at a participating Marriott Bonvoy hotel in California or New York. Your stay must be at least 3 nights.
The 20,000 Marriott Bonvoy points are credited automatically, without prior registration. The booking window runs from August 1 to 31, 2026, and stays are valid from August 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027.
On Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, enjoy a 10% discount on a selection of rentals for a stay of 2 nights or more. Book between July 13 and August 20, 2026. Stays are eligible from July 17 to November 30, 2026, excluding September 4–7 and November 25–29.
The booking window for the 20,000 bonus points closes on August 31, 2026, and the offer only covers Marriott Bonvoy hotels in California and New York. Availability varies by destination and period. The longer you wait, the greater the risk of no longer finding an eligible package, so book early in the month.
By paying for your package with a Marriott Bonvoy card, you earn 5 points per dollar spent at Marriott, in addition to the 20,000 bonus points. On a $3,000 package, that’s an additional 15,000 points. If you just subscribed to the card, this spending also counts toward the 110,000-point welcome bonus threshold. For Homes & Villas rentals, the card also allows you to earn points on the spending while enjoying the 10% discount.

My recommendation: first apply for the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card for the welcome bonus, then pay for your Vacations package with that same card. This way, you earn the welcome bonus, the 20,000 bonus points, and 5 points per dollar spent at Marriott on a single trip.
I strongly recommend booking early in the window, as packages at the promotional rate are limited in California and New York. And don’t miss the opportunity to combine this promotion with a Marriott Bonvoy credit card to earn points on every dollar spent on-site.
