Holders of the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card and the Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express Card automatically get 15 Elite Nights each year, simply by holding either of these cards. Unlike previous promotions that rewarded each night, this one favors repeated short stays. A 7-night trip earns you 2,500 bonus points, but 7 one-night stays generate 17,500 bonus points. However, keep in mind that nights paid with points are not eligible for this promotion. The strategy is therefore to alternate: cash-paid stays to take advantage of the bonus, point stays for leisure travel.
