Porter Airlines has unveiled its two new seasonal routes for winter 2024-2025 to Las Vegas, Nevada’s largest city.
From November 2, 2024, passengers will have the opportunity to travel non-stop between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) four times a week.
The airline points out that it is the only one to operate the Ottawa-Las Vegas route.
The Montreal-Las Vegas service will also start on November 2, 2024, with three flights a week.
These new routes are in addition to the two daily Toronto-Las Vegas flights.
Kevin Jackson, President of Porter Airlines, mentioned that this new service to Las Vegas reflects the airline’s commitment to “meet passenger demand”, but also to “offer superior service across our expanding network”.
Canadians are particularly fond of relaxing in Las Vegas, says Steve Hill, President and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
In his words, Canada is the main source of international visitors. In 2023, Las Vegas welcomed 1.4 million Canadians.
