This expansion of the program provides VIPorter members with a wide range of options. In total, more than 2,000 new destinations will be available to members using VIPorter points:
In addition, Porter Airlines is continuously adding new routes in North America, with several set to begin in the summer of 2025.
Porter is now positioning itself as a more serious competitor to established programs such as Aeroplan Air Canada and WestJet Rewards. What’s more, with the arrival of BMO co-branded credit cards, the VIPorter program becomes even more attractive to Canadian travellers.
Reservations can be made exclusively on flyporter.com or via the Porter contact center at 1-888-619-8622.
It is important to note that this feature is not yet available on Porter’s mobile app or via the Air Transat and Alaska Airlines booking channels.

This expansion is excellent news for VIPorter points holders, particularly for trips to Europe and sunny destinations. Especially since Air Transat is currently developing its own loyalty program, which is expected to be unveiled in the coming year.
With the arrival of the BMO VIPorter Mastercard line of credit cards, opportunities for accumulation and redemption will be even more attractive.
This announcement confirms Porter’s ambition to develop far beyond its initial positioning as a niche regional carrier, to become a more significant player on the Canadian airline scene.
