Aeroplan has just added Bearskin Airlines as a new partner, allowing its members to book flights with their points starting today.
Bearskin Airlines is an airline founded 62 years ago and based in Thunder Bay (YQT) in Northern Ontario. It is part of Perimeter Aviation and operates a fleet of about thirty small aircraft.
Since October 28, 2025, you can book Bearskin Airlines flights with your Aeroplan points online on the Air Canada website, with the Air Canada mobile app, or by phone with Aeroplan customer service.
Currently, it is not possible to earn Aeroplan points on Bearskin Airlines flights when paid in cash. This partnership is solely for point redemptions, not for earning points.
Bearskin Airlines flights follow Aeroplan’s partner pricing, which uses dynamic pricing. In economy class, flights start at 6,000 Aeroplan points and up, depending on dates and availability.
A one-way flight for one person in early December between Sudbury (YSB) and Thunder Bay (YQT) costs 15,000 Aeroplan points and $84.
A similar flight would cost approximately $410.
The addition of Bearskin Airlines to Aeroplan strengthens the offering of Canadian regional carriers. This improves travel to remote regions and offers more point redemption options to save on these flights, which can be expensive.
Bearskin thus joins other regional partners in the Aeroplan network, such as PAL Airlines, Canadian North, and Air Inuit.
