Redeeming Aeroplan points for an all-inclusive package is done entirely online on the Air Canada Vacations website. The process is simple, and redemption takes place in the Payment section.
The rest of the payment can be made with a credit card.
When booking, click on Use Points on the right side of the screen. All you need to do is redeem Aeroplan points for an all-inclusive package with Air Canada Vacations, starting from as few as 1,000 points.
You can choose the number of points you want. Every 1,000 Aeroplan points reduces the cost of your vacation by $10. So, 100,000 Aeroplan points give you $1,000 less to pay on your all-inclusive package.
The remainder of the payment can be made with a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express credit card.
On the Air Canada Vacations homepage, sign in with your Aeroplan account credentials using the Sign In section at the top right corner.
Choose the type of vacation you are interested in, whether it is a vacation package, a Flight Hotel package, a tour, or a cruise.
Then enter the desired destination and dates and launch the search by clicking on the Search button.
You can filter search results to display only hotels or packages that meet specific criteria, whether rating, amenities, or the extra Aeroplan points offer*.
Some tours, packages, and hotels offer additional Aeroplan points; if so, a box will indicate it.
In the search results, you will clearly see which all-inclusive vacation packages offer Aeroplan bonus points. Then select the desired package by clicking on the Select button.
Once on the hotel page, this is when you choose how many Aeroplan points to use to reduce the cost of your trip in increments of 1,000 points.
Using Aeroplan points to pay for your vacation also works for tours and cruises.
Then all you have to do is continue your transaction.
First, when booking with Air Canada Vacations, it is very important to add the Aeroplan member number for each traveler, adult or child! If you’ve forgotten, you can do so up to 31 days before departure.
