The number and total weight of cabin and checked baggage allowed depend on your travel cabin and the fare selected. If you’re traveling in the Economy cabin, you can bring one piece of baggage and one accessory, which together weigh no more than 12 kg. Passengers choosing the Light fare have no checked baggage included, while passengers choosing the Standard, Standard Plus and Flex fares can bring up to one checked baggage item, with a maximum weight of 23 kg.
Passengers travelling in the Premium Economy cabin may take two small pieces of baggage and one accessory weighing 12 kg, as well as two pieces of checked baggage, with a maximum weight of 23 kg per suitcase.
Passengers travelling in the Exclusive, Business and La Première cabins may bring two pieces of luggage and one accessory weighing 18 kg, as well as up to three suitcases weighing up to 32 kg.
Passengers flying with Air France from Paris-Charles de Gaulle can check in their baggage in advance. The Air France baggage drop-off area is open to passengers the day before their flight, from 4pm to 8pm, in terminal 2E. To get there, go to the departures level, near check-in areas 12 and 13.
This service is available to all passengers whose flight departs from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and whose destination is in the Americas, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean. Some destinations in Africa, Asia and the Middle East served by Air France also offer the baggage drop-off service. For flights to the USA, this service is only available from 24 hours before departure.
Passengers flying to Algeria, Armenia, Israel, Georgia, Morocco, Russia, Tunisia and Ukraine are unfortunately not entitled to the Air France baggage drop-off service.
