How to earn and redeem Scene+ points on Expedia

To the point Are you a member of the Scene+ loyalty program? Here's how to collect and redeem your points on the Expedia Scene+ website.

The Scene+ loyalty program allows you to earn 3 points per dollar on your Expedia bookings, and redeem your Scene+ points to reduce the cost of your booking.

This way, you can earn and redeem Scene+ points on the following products offered by Expedia:

  • Flights
  • Hotels
  • Rental cars
  • Excursions and activities

 

To get Scene+ points on your Expedia bookings, or to redeem them, you must go through Expedia’s dedicated Scene+ website. You will not earn the 3 points/dollar with your bookings on the regular Expedia.ca website, but you can still redeem your Scene+ points for a statement credit after you make payment.

Here are the steps to take to earn and redeem Scene+ points with Expedia.

Book and earn Scene+ points on Expedia

Go to the Scene+ program page dedicated to Scene+ Travel developed by Expedia and log in.

Once logged into your Scene+ account, click on “Book Scene+ Travel Now”.

The prices are then displayed in both money and points. For each hotel, you can also see how many Scene+ points you can earn with your reservation at the rate of 3 points/$.

Important details:

  • When you get to the checkout page, you can manually enter the number of points you want to redeem for your reservation, or instead choose to keep your points and pay in cash.
  • You do not need to have enough points to pay for your entire reservation. For example, here it is possible to use 1,000 points to get a $10 discount on the total price.
