Despite being less visible than some of its competitors, Louvre Hotels Group’s Flavours Instant Benefit loyalty program, although limited in its benefits, enables members to enjoy attractive discounts of up to 20% on a selection of the Group’s hotels.

Flavours Instant Benefit, by Louvre Hotels Group

Flavours Instant Benefit is the loyalty program of Louvre Hotels Group, part of the Chinese conglomerate Jin Jiang. With 1,700 hotels worldwide, under brands such as Première Classe, Kyriad and Campanile, it is the world’s second-largest hotel group after Marriott.

Louvre Hotels Group Hotels

Although less well known than some of the major groups, such as Accor,Louvre Hotels Group has a particularly diversified brand portfolio, with family hotels, low and mid-range hotels and some four and five-star establishments. In all, the Group owns eleven different brands, all of which are set to evolve between now and 2028.

First Class

Première Classe is the economy brand of Louvre Hotels Group. The 230 one-star establishments – located mainly in France – are aimed at customers who don’t want to compromise on their budget.

Eventually, Première Classe hotels will undergo a refresh and the Hosho bed-capsule concept will be extended, with a planned opening in Cannes in 2025.

Hosho

Hosho is the group’s second economy brand. It’s a hybrid concept between a youth hostel and a budget hotel.

Kyriad Direct

Kyriad Direct comprises 80 2-star hotels, the majority of which are also located in France, from Épinal to Dadilly and Chasse-sur-Rhone.

Kyriad

With a total of 460 hotels, Kyriad is the mid-range brand of the Louvre Hotels Group. Present in France, China and Southeast Asia, it is ideal for travelers looking for comfort and local charm.

In a few years’ time, the Kyriad brand will include three variations, to better distinguish the positioning of the different establishments: Kyriad eco (2 stars), Kyriad (3 stars) and Kyriad Prestige (4 stars).

Campanile

Campanile is the second mid-range brand of Louvre Hotels Groups. The brand’s 410 hotels, which often boast three stars, are located in France, Europe and China.

Soon, two labels will be attached to the Campanile brand – Campanile Prime and Campanile Nature – which will distinguish between two types of hotel, depending on their location (city center and inner suburbs on the one hand, or suburbs and countryside on the other) and their quality of service.

Tulip Inn

Tulip Inn hotels offer simple, quality accommodation in France, Europe and the Middle East. We particularly like the Tulip Inn Sainte-Clotilde La Réunion, a small 3-star hotel located not far from Jamaica Park.

Tulip Hotels & Residences

Tulip Hotels & Residences comprises three hotels: one in Warsaw, Poland, and two in France, including one in Joinville-le-Point and another in Massy-Palaiseau.

Sarovar

Sarovar hotels are located in India and range from three to five stars.

Golden Tulip

The Golden Tulip brand was born in the early 1960s, with the opening of the first Golden Tulip hotels in the Netherlands, and has since spread throughout the world. Today, it comprises 170 upscale hotels in 41 countries.

Hotels & Preference

Hôtels & Préférence is a label for a number of independent hotels, the majority of which are between four and five stars. Demeure, Business, Resort, Boutique, Luxury and Palace are the brand’s six categories, all of which meet the expectations of customers who appreciate both luxury hotels and cozy, intimate places.

TemptingPlaces

TemptingPlaces is a collection of boutique hotels that currently includes 55 establishments in ten countries, including France. Our favorite addresses include Loire Valley Lodges and Maison Albar – L’Imperator, in Nîmes.

Royal Tulip

Present mainly in the Middle East and Asia, the Royal Tulip brand is a collection of three, four and five-star establishments, where the promise of inspiring stays is rooted in exception.

Benefits of Flavours Instant Benefit

Unlike various hotel loyalty programs, such as Marriott Bonvoy, Great Members or MeliáRewards, Flavours Instant Benefit offers neither point collection nor status benefits.

The program offers a single benefit: an exclusive member discount, the percentage of which varies according to current offers.

  • As a general rule, a 10% discount is offered to Flavours Instant Benefit members at all hotels participating in the program, with the exception of Première Classe.
  • A 5% discount is offered to Flavours Instant Benefit members staying at Première Classe hotels.
  • Depending on current offers, discounts of up to 20% may be available at certain hotels.

Please note that Flavours Instant Benefit is not available at TemptingPlaces, Hôtels Préférence and Savorar.

Conclusion and Review

The Flavours Instant Benefit loyalty program doesn’t rival those of major hotel groups such as Marriott, Accor and Hilton. It offers neither privileged status for the most assiduous members nor the accumulation of points redeemable for free nights, thus limiting its appeal.

However, as registration is free and online, there’s nothing to lose by joining and everything to gain, including discounts of up to 20% at certain hotels. As the group’s hotel rates are already competitive, the stay promises to be affordable.
