According to Milesopedia’s estimate, an Aeroplan point is worth approximately 2 ¢ when exchanged for flights. However, this figure changes to 0.8¢ on average when points are used for hotel reservations. In other words, it’s often more advantageous to use Aeroplan points to book flights rather than to use them on hotels.
