Summer at Tremblant is synonymous with events and activities of all kinds that bring the destination to life.
The destination recently announced the program for its popular Tremblant International Blues Festival.
For its 28th edition, the International Blues Festival offers a varied program with more music and more styles. Renowned artists such as Southern Avenue, Sugary Rayford, Dumpstaphunk and Delgres will be performing in the pedestrian village.
In addition to a full line-up of daytime and evening musical events, there are a number of free activities and workshops for families from Thursday to Sunday. Craft workshops, fantasy face painting and a caricaturist for the youngest visitors will be on hand to liven up the site.
Here’s an overview of the other events on offer this summer:
For the first time, Rythmes Tremblant will be available in three styles. The destination will first welcome emerging artists during the Découvertes weekend (July 6-9). Then, country music will take over Place Saint-Bernard (July 20-22) with, among others, the presence of popular Quebec country singer Matt Lang. Finally, two days of Latin music will keep visitors dancing.
A musical parade with instruments and musicians will stroll through the pedestrian village, performing music ranging from reggae and zydeco to blues and Dixie.
World-famous BMX athletes will perform perilous stunts that will impress young and old alike.
Tremblant will be immersed in the world of folk music, with performances that encourage close contact with the artists.
The 23rd edition of the Fête de la musique, directed by Angèle Dubeau, takes over the pedestrian village, involving renowned artists and virtuosos yet to be discovered.
At Lake Tremblant, you can enjoy water skiing and tubing. You’ll also enjoy facilities such as marked swimming courses, beaches and motorboat rentals. And in the evening, the pedestrian village is just a few steps away for further relaxation.
Offering a sensory experience in the heart of nature, Tonga Lumina features a 1.5 km nocturnal trail entirely illuminated in the forest. The hour-long hike starts with a lift to mid-mountain, then plunges into the woods, challenging all the senses of daring visitors.
Once you’ve reached the summit of Mont Tremblant by gondola, the Ziptrek Écotours adventure begins with five vertiginous zip lines that will take you down to the pedestrian village over a distance of almost 4 kilometers.
Golf le Diable opened its doors on May 12, and Golf le Géant will follow on June 9.
Surrounded by spectacular views, you can explore the surrounding nature with a variety of options at the summit: hiking, 360-degree observation tower, bird-of-prey show and dining at Le Grand Manitou.
