Now it’s Visit Richmond BC’ s turn to launch an offer to boost tourism in the off-season. The program offers prepaid gift cards for stays at participating hotels in Richmond, a suburb of Vancouver.

This time, it requires a stay of one to three nights in the same hotel.

With this promotion, you’ll receive up to $225 in prepaid Visa gift cards.
Your stay can earn from $75 to $225, depending on the hotel and number of nights.

To take advantage of this promotion, you must book your hotel on the Visit Richmond BC website. Here are the details:

• Book through VisitRichmondBC.com.
• Booking consecutive nights as separate bookings will be treated the same way as a single booking for several nights.
• The first night of each stay gives $75, $100 or $125, and each additional night gives an extra $50 for stays of up to 3 nights.
• Three bookings maximum per person.
• The stay must take place between October 1 and December 2, 2024.
• Reservations can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the check-in date.
• Gift cards will be handed out at check-in.
• Reservations can be made with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or other credit cards.

Note that this is a limited time offer that ends on November 29, 2024.

Here is an example below with the Vancouver Airport Marriott Hotel. A weekend stay between November 1 and 3, 2024 costs $389 per night, at the standard refundable rate. With this reservation, you’ll receive a:

• 125 $ for the first night
• 50 $ for second night

For a total of $175 in prepaid gift cards, which comes to a net price of $736 for a two-night stay, taxes included.

These prepaid gift cards can be used to deduct directly from your hotel bill, in restaurants or for any other expense during your stay.
