Since October 2023, Aeroplan members can earn a maximum of 12,000 additional points when booking an Air Canada Vacations package, until December 31, 2026.
Air Canada Vacations now announces that Aeroplan members will earn up to 20,000 additional Aeroplan points on all eligible package bookings made as of September 8, 2025. This offer is valid only for travel starting January 1, 2026, and completed by December 31, 2026. Aeroplan members can maximize their points earnings on select Air Canada Vacations packages to Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.

These all-inclusive vacation packages combine flight and hotel, making them a popular turnkey travel option for travellers seeking simplicity.
Tip: You can redeem your Aeroplan points to pay for your Air Canada Vacations package and still earn Aeroplan points and bonus points at the same time. Redeeming Aeroplan points is simply considered a method of payment. This means the value of your Aeroplan points increases based on the points you’ll earn in return.

Starting January 1, 2026, this will change with the introduction of Status Qualifying Credits (SQC). Aeroplan Elite members will earn 1 SQC for every dollar spent on Air Canada Vacations packages.

Additionally, Aeroplan Elite members will have a multiplier of 2 to 6 times more of these Aeroplan points. Unfortunately, this multiplier will not apply to bonus points awarded of up to 20,000 points.
Additionally, all Aeroplan members can get an exclusive 10% discount on an upcoming activity or excursion by booking with GetYourGuide.
To receive the discount, members must be logged into their Aeroplan account on the Air Canada Vacations website. From the home page, in the ” BOOK ” drop-down menu, click on ” Activities “. The discount will be applied automatically at checkout.
This program is becoming more and more appealing, as the points awarded are for each Aeroplan member and even for children and teenagers!
It may be advantageous to create an account for them before the trip, so that each person in the group can benefit from the Aeroplan points.
The offer allows Aeroplan members to earn up to 20,000 extra points per person when they book an eligible Air Canada Vacations package for travel between January 1 and December 31, 2026.
The bonus points vary depending on the destination and type of package:
Up to 20,000 points for select destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, and the United States (minimum stay required)
Up to 12,000 points for Las Vegas (minimum 4-night stay)
4,000 to 8,000 points for Europe and worldwide tours
2,000 points for select packages within Canada.
Bonus points are awarded approximately 6 to 8 weeks after travel completion. It is essential to include your Aeroplan membership number in the booking before travel to be eligible for the points.
