AIR MILES Offers and Mastercard credit cards : how does it work

As announced by AIR MILES last month when the program was redesigned, all Mastercard credit cards in Canada can be linked to an AIR MILES account. When you register your Mastercard credit card to your AIR MILES account, you get AIR MILES bonus miles according to current AIR MILES offers.

You must do the following steps:

There is no need to show your AIR MILES member card at the time of purchase. The miles will then be deposited into your member account 30 days after purchase. No coupon is required.

For example, when I linked my HSBC World Elite® Mastercard® to my AIR MILES Collector account, I get this confirmation message.

Félicitations lier carte AM

Among others, you’ll have the following AIR MILES offers until December 13, 2021:

  • Subway
  • Boston Pizza
  • Beaver Tails
Offres Air miles MC

If I use my HSBC World Elite® Mastercard® for a $10 purchase at Beaver Tails, for example, I earn:

  • HSBC Rewards Points based on my purchase(3 points per dollar)
  • 5 AIR MILES Bonus miles with AIR MILES offers

There will be such AIR MILES offers every month until March 02, 2022. Only one registration is required, even for future offer periods.

It’s another way to earn AIR MILES bonus miles, without necessarily having an AIR MILES credit card.
