Welcome Offer

New Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Privilege* Cardholders can earn up to 80,000 Scene+ points as a welcome bonus, subject to the following conditions:

  • 30,000 points after $3,000 in purchases in the first three months
  • 30,000 points after $20,000 in purchases in the first six months
  • 20,000 points by making a qualifying purchase during the 14th month following account opening

These points represent a total value of $800 in travel rewards.

Earning Scene+ Points

The Scotiabank Passport® Visa Infinite Privilege* Card entitles you to:

  • 3 points per dollar for travel expenses.
  • 2 points per dollar on eligible restaurant and entertainment purchases.
  • 1 point per dollar for all other purchases.

These points can be used for any travel purchase at the rate of 1,000 points = $10 (airline tickets, hotels, all-inclusives and even Airbnb). You can also use your points as cash back with Scene+, such as at your grocery store checkout at the same rate of 1,000 points = $10.

Annual Fee

  • Primary cardholder: $599 per year.
  • Additional card: $199 per year.

If you have a Scotiabank Ultimate Package, you can receive $150 off the annual fee for this card.

Eligibility

To become a Scotiabank Passport® Visa Infinite Privilege* Card member, you must:

  • Have a personal income of at least $150,000 per year, or family income of at least $200,000 per year, or assets under management of at least $400,000.
  • Be a Canadian resident and have reached the age of majority in your province or territory of residence.
