With travel still complicated this year – and likely to be in Canada for the summer – Air Canada has announced a partnership between its Aeroplan loyalty program and Rocky Mountaineer.
Rocky Mountaineer offers three unique train journeys in Western Canada and one in West USA to enjoy the diverse landscapes in a custom-designed, spacious glass-dome coach.
Onboard the Rocky Mountaineer trains, there are SilverLeaf or GoldLeaf services (the difference will be mainly in the location in the train with access to a different glass dome, an outside platform and a different catering service).

To make your reservation, you must call Rocky Mountaineer at 1-800-875-9149 and provide your Aeroplan number. Starting at the end of June, Aeroplan members will be able to apply their Aeroplan number during Rocky Mountaineer’s online booking process to be eligible for earn and upgrades.
Starting today, you can also redeem your Aeroplan points for Rocky Mountaineer eVouchers through the Aeroplan eStore.
There are several options: either 4,000 points for a $50 eVoucher.
Or the purchase of a journey depending on the season and the service (between 296,000 and 884,000 points).
To give you an idea of the most expensive choice, the Canadian Rockies Circle at 884,000 points.
