American Express Canada announced today the renewal of its longstanding partnership with Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ).

This multi-year agreement offers enhanced services and exclusive benefits to premium American Express cardholders traveling through this airport.

Eligible American Express cardholders will continue to enjoy several exclusive benefits at Toronto Pearson Airport:

  • Access to the priority security lane at Terminals 1 and 3 via single-use QR codes
  • Free valet service at Terminal 1 for eligible cardholders
  • 15% discount on parking at Express Park (Terminal 1) and Daily Park (Terminals 1 and 3).
  • 15% discount on car maintenance services at Terminal 1

How to Obtain a QR Code for the Priority Security Screening Service

Log in to the American Express Website

To obtain your QR code for access to the Toronto-Pearson YYZ priority security screening service, you must log in with your login and password at yyz.americanexpress.com.

Specify the Number of QR Codes You Need

Then enter the number of QR codes you would like to receive for access to the Toronto-Pearson YYZ priority security screening service. You can obtain up to 10 QR codes.

Please note that these QR codes have no expiry date and can only be used for one passenger each. So you can’t share a QR code you plan to use.

Send yourself a dozen QR codes in advance, even if you don’t have a trip planned. They do not have an expiration date and will always be useful to you! Alternatively, you can get them directly to Toronto-Pearson from your smartphone at go.amex/yyz.

How does the electronic door of the priority security lane work?

You can apply for a QR code before your flight by visiting go.amex/yyz. Once this is done, please go to the priority security checkpoint with your QR code in hand. You can scan your QR code from your mobile device. You can also e-mail your QR code to yourself, or print it out at home before you leave.
