Air Canada: new routes to Naples, Porto and Prague in spring-summer 2025

To the point Passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy three new European routes, offered by Air Canada in spring and summer 2025, to the Czech Republic, Italy and Portugal.

The Canadian airline will be offering passengers two new routes from Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), to Naples in Italy and Porto in Portugal.

From Toronto-Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Air Canada will resume service to Prague in the Czech Republic, after an absence of over five years.

Air Canada - Montreal-Naples route

Non-stop flights to Naples-Capodichino International Airport (NAP) will kick off on May 16, 2025, departing from Montreal four times a week with Boeing 787-8 aircraft.

Air Canada already serves several destinations in Italy, with flights to Rome and Venice from Montreal and Toronto, and a flight to Milan from Montreal.

Air Canada - Montreal-Porto route

Non-stop service from Montreal to Porto airport (OPO) will be launched on June 4, 2025, four times a week, with Boeing 737-8 aircraft.

In Portugal, Air Canada now only offers flights to Lisbon from Toronto and Montreal.

Air Canada - Toronto-Prague route

Toronto will offer direct service to Prague-Václav-Havel (PRG) airport from June 6 to the end of September 2025, using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners.

Flights take off at 20 h 25 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, with a scheduled landing in Prague at 10 h 45.

According to Air Canada’s points predictor, for a one-way economy flight from Montreal, you’ll need at least :

  • 40,000 points to Naples airport
  • 35,000 points to get you to Porto airport

And from Toronto :

  • 35,000 points to Prague airport
