WestJet and Condor Airlines are now code-sharing for the first time in their 10-year partnership, the Canadian airline announced in a press release.
”Our shared passion for affordable leisure travel has allowed our partnership to evolve to meet the growing demand for transatlantic travel, and we look forward to welcoming the world to Canada this summer” said John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer.
WestJet customers can book Condor Airlines flights from Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and Halifax to Frankfurt.
Condor Airlines customers will have the opportunity to visit Canada via WestJet’s domestic network.
Later this summer, the Canadian airline will also be offering Condor Airlines customers connections to the USA via Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and Halifax.
WestJet customers will be able to book their itinerary on a single ticket via westjet.com or the WestJet app. The Canadian airline also mentioned that they will benefit from a unique connection to Frankfurt with baggage transfer, as well as an accumulation of WestJet dollars throughout their journey.
WestJet offers travellers the loyalty program WestJet Rewards loyalty program to earn and redeem WestJet dollars. However, this program cannot be used with UltraBase.
Another easy and flexible way to earn WestJet dollars on your everyday spending is to use the RBC Avion Visa Infinite Card or RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege Card; you’ll be able to collect Avion points and then transfer them to WestJet Rewards.
Travel companion vouchers can also save you money on your bookings. Our WestJet travel companion guide will answer all your questions.
Finally, if you’re a few dollars short of paying for your next rewards flight, until June 30, 2024, WestJet is offering its members up to 40% off the purchase of WestJet dollars.
