Frequently asked questions
How do I earn the 70,000 WestJet points?
The 70,000 points arrive in four instalments: 25,000 points within six weeks of your first purchase, 5,000 points within twelve weeks of that same purchase, 30,000 points once you put $5,000 in qualifying purchases on the card during the first three months, and 10,000 anniversary points after one year of holding the card. The $5,000 threshold therefore unlocks the 30,000-point instalment, while the other three depend on your first purchase and on the account anniversary.
Can I use my WestJet points for any flight?
Yes. You can pay all or part of a WestJet flight or a WestJet Vacations or Sunwing package with your WestJet points, taxes and fees included. Points do not expire, and no blackout periods apply to flights paid for with points.
