If you hold elite status with the loyalty program of one of 23 eligible airlines and reside in Canada, you can also get your status matched with Flying Blue through Status Match.
Specifically, by submitting an eligible application and paying the required fees, you could obtain Flying Blue status for a period of 12 months.
For example, if you are an Aeroplan 50K member residing in Canada, you could obtain Flying Blue Gold status. And if you are an Aeroplan Elite 75K or Super Elite member, you could obtain Flying Blue Platinum status!
