Flying Blue, the Air France KLM frequent flyer program, has announced 2 special measures for its members.
First, Flying Blue offers a 50% bonus XP for all flights:
No registration is required for this promotion.
In addition, the calculation of the additional 50% of XP will be rounded up. For example, on 5 XP flights, you would normally get 2.5 XP bonus. However, they will be rounded up to 3 XP so you will have a grand total of 8 XP.
In addition, Explorer members will have their Miles renewed according to a few criteria. All their miles that expire between December 2021 and November 2022 will remain valid until the end of December 2022.

The different levels of Flying Blue status are obtained by earning experience points (XP):
You have 12 months to collect enough XP to level up or keep your current status.
To get XPs, it depends on many factors such as the class of the cabin and the distance traveled.
Here’s how many XP you can get during this promotion:

All Flying Blue members worldwide are eligible, without exception. If you are not yet a member, go to the Flying Blue website (flyingblue.com) to register. Membership is free. Each passenger on the same reservation must be a Flying Blue member and indicate his or her membership number to benefit from the offer.
It is not necessary to register for the offer. Flying Blue will automatically credit the XP bonus of 50% to your account after each flight. Your Flying Blue number must be provided at the time of booking or check-in to earn double XP.
If you traveling on any eligible flight operated by Air France or KLM (with an AF or KL flight number) between January 1 and June 30, 2022, you will receive the 50 % XP bonus. You will benefit from the offer as many times as you take flights during this period.
Your 50% bonus XP will be credited to your account along with your regular XP after your flight.
The 50% XP bonus will be credited to all flights between 00:01 on January 1 and 23:59 on June 30, 2022 (local time and departure date), regardless of the date of booking. So, for flights you’ve already booked before July 1, 2021, with travel dates between January 1 and June 30, 2022, you’ll still get the 50% XP bonus.
You will earn the 50% XP bonus on all eligible flights between January 1 and June 30, 2022. The offer is not limited to a single booking.
Yes, and even if you receive both promotions in the same qualification period. Having not one but two promotions brings you closer to the next threshold or helps you maintain your level.
We always round up. For example, on flights where 5XP is awarded, you will earn 2.5XP bonus. However, we round it up to 3XP, which means you will earn a total of 8XP.
Flights marketed by Air France or KLM have an Air France (AF) or KLM (KL) flight number. However, they may be operated by another airline.
