Aeroplan Promotion : 20% points back on hotel reservations

Aeroplan has an exclusive offer: earn 20% points back on your next hotel stay.

For example, if you book a hotel stay and redeem 20,000 Aeroplan points, you’ll get 4,000 points (20,000 x 20%) back in your account.

This promotion is valid for bookings made between June 16, 2025 and June 29, 2025. Members must register for this offer on the points back offer page during this same period, before making the reservation.

Stays or rentals must be completed by December 31, 2025. Points will then be added to the account within ten weeks of the end of the trip.

And don’t forget that the fourth night is free for credit card holders Aeroplan. With the 20% Aeroplan points back, this offer becomes even more attractive!

Let’s take the example of a four-night stay in Lisbon at the Sofitel hotel. This trip would cost 75,000 Aeroplan points including all fees and taxes. The offer will then entitle you to 15,000 points back.

In other words, the stay would cost 60,000 Aeroplan points for four nights in Lisbon, rather than the cash amount of $914.

This equates to a value of around 1.5 cents per point Aeroplan ($914 divided by 60,000 points) in this case. That’s slightly less than the 2 cents we value in our semi-annual estimate, but it’s not necessarily a bad deal.

If you have accumulated a good number of Aeroplan points and would like to book your next hotel stay using points, it will be worthwhile for you to do so by June 29, 2025 to obtain points back that you can use for future travel.
