The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur – Autograph Collection is located near KL Sentral in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
His address: 5 Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 50000
It takes about 15 minutes to get to the hotel from the train station even if it’s close. Prefer to make a connection to the Kuala Lumpur train station, located in front of the hotel… or take a cab!
Alternatively, the hotel’s free shuttle bus can pick you up or drop you off at KL Sentral, ask for it at reception.
The hotel’s lobby is majestic with a colonial feel.
Check-in will be done in few minutes. My Titanium Elite status would have allowed me to upgrade in a suite with a king bed. We prefer to maintain our reservation with 2 beds.
The hotel will confirm:
Benefits of the Marriott Bonvoy Platinum/Titanium Elite Status.

This is a Deluxe Twin room. Although this is the standard room, accessible with points, this is large with a luxurious finish.
A large desk with a particularly comfortable chair is located there.
And a well-stocked mini-bar, with a coffee machine.
A small gift is available: meringues!
At the entrance to the room is a large closet with a safe, ironing board and bathrobes.
Our room has a view of the front of the hotel, with Kuala Lumpur Train Station opposite, and the pool below.
The bathroom is behind a glass wall separating it from the bedroom. Of course, a curtain can be closed for your privacy!
The bathroom is composed:
When we arrived at the hotel around 6pm, after a flight from Istanbul to Kuala Lumpur, we decided to have a drink at the lounge before heading out to explore Kuala Lumpur.
To get there, we cross several magnificent rooms retracing the hotel’s colonial past.
The employees of the lounge will welcome us and offer to relax in club chairs. They’ll even take our orders!
A buffet is available, especially for drinks. Convenient to bring bottles of water before going into town!
The waiters will bring us 2 glasses of red wine as well as snacks.
First, a ride to the hotel pool. This one is in front of the gym.
You will find patio chairs, sun umbrellas and towels.
The hotel gym is particularly well-equipped.
Thanks to the Titanium Elite status (also possible with Platinum Elite), we were entitled to a free breakfast.
This one is taken at the hotel’s restaurant with an exceptional buffet – which is the norm in hotels in Asia!
The dining room is really large with many seats.
There are several stations:
It’s a buffet, but it’s possible to get eggs served your way.
The sweet part:
The salty part:
There’s something for everyone!
This buffet was perfect, as was the table-service.
The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur – Autograph Collection is a very good choice during a stopover in Kuala Lumpur. We particularly appreciated the historical aspect of the property, and the luxurious nature of the facilities for a very reasonable cost in points!
