This represents a 40% increase in the number of seats to this destination, the airline announced in a press release. These new routes will be operated by Air Canada from the end of October.
The only non-stop service between Canada and Mumbai , with four flights a week from Toronto, will be inaugurated on October 27, 2024.
Other new features include a service to Delhi from Calgary with seasonal daily flights via London Heathrow, as well as a daily service between Montreal and Delhi.
A total of 25 weekly flights to India will be offered, according to the airline, which is inviting passengers to book their tickets now.
“We are solidifying Air Canada as the leading airline offering the most travel options between Canada and India”, says Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President, revenue and Network Planning at Air Camada.
Passengers will have the opportunity to travel aboard a 777-200LR aircraft, offering Signature, Economy Privilege and Economy classes.
