The National Bank Lounge at Montreal-Trudeau Airport (YUL) will close on April 30, 2026, for a complete renovation. Starting May 1, 2026, a temporary lounge will take over on the same floor. Here’s what changes for National Bank World Elite Mastercard holders and the alternatives available in the international zone.
The National Bank YUL lounge is a popular space for travellers holding National Bank cards. During the renovation, access to the temporary lounge will be maintained without interruption. The current National Bank Lounge, located after security in the international zone, will close on April 30, 2026. The renovation aims to modernize the space and improve the traveller experience.
No official reopening date has been communicated. In the meantime, National Bank has planned a transition with a temporary lounge that will open the next day, on the same floor.
The temporary lounge will open on May 1, 2026. It will be accessible 7 days a week, from 5 AM to 9 PM, on the same level as the current lounge, after security in the international zone.
The temporary lounge will offer basic services. However, some amenities of the current lounge will not be available during the transition.
Access conditions remain similar to those of the current lounge. The fee depends on your National Bank card.

The Maple Leaf Lounge International is Air Canada’s main lounge at YUL. Aeroplan Prestige 25K and higher members have access, as do Air Canada and Star Alliance Business Class passengers.
In addition, the American Express® Aeroplan®* Reserve Card provides access to this lounge. Air Canada has also recently renovated its Maple Leaf Lounges in several Canadian airports.
The Desjardins Odyssey Lounge is located in the international zone. Holders of the Desjardins Odyssey World Elite Mastercard or the Desjardins Odyssey Visa Infinite Privilege Card get free access.
This lounge offers hot meals, alcoholic beverages, showers, and a workspace. It is a comprehensive option for international flights departing from Montreal.
The Aspire International Lounge recently opened its doors in the international zone at YUL. Holders of the American Express Platinum Card have access, as do Priority Pass members.
In addition, the lounge offers snacks, beverages, and a quiet space before boarding. Some American Express cards include complimentary visits.
The Air France Lounge at YUL is accessible to Air France Business Class passengers and Flying Blue Gold and Platinum members. DragonPass and Priority Pass members also have access.
