According to Rewards Canada, Montreal-Trudeau International Airport will have a new lounge in its transborder terminal by the end of the year (November-December)!
This would be great news, as currently the only lounge available is Air Canada’s Maple Leaf Lounge , which we reported on here.
We have asked Montreal-Trudeau International Airport for more details and they have promised to get back to us shortly. Of course, we want to know who will operate the lounge and whether it will be accessible to Priority Pass / Loungekey subscribers.
In the meantime, here is a reminder of the different methods of accessing the lounges at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport.
Check out our strategy to get you into the airport lounges for free!
In the domestic section of Montreal-Trudeau Airport, there is only one lounge: the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge, located between gates 1 & 3.
This is also the case in the transborder section for flights to the United States. The Maple Leaf Lounge is located at door 73.
To access Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges with a credit card, you have several options:
Within the international section of Montreal-Trudeau Airport, there are 4 lounges:

It is available ONLY to holders of certain Desjardins credit cards, listed in this article.
