At Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport YUL, on the international terminal side, there is an Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge, along with several other lounges, including the National Bank World Mastercard lounge, open to Priority Pass members.
In the cross-border terminal there is only one lounge: Air Canada’s. Unfortunately, or happily for those who can get in, it is not open to Priority Pass members.

On top of that, if you are travelling on an Aeroplan award flight and your Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite Privilege card is linked to your Aeroplan account, you can get in at no charge (your card sets an annual access limit).
The cross-border lounge sits between gates 72 and 73. Our flight that day left for Las Vegas from gate 73, right next to the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge.
The lounge opens in line with the Canada to United States flight schedule, from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The seating areas are numerous and well spread out, with different types of leather armchairs depending on whether you want to eat, rest or work. As you can see, early in the morning this lounge is far from crowded, which is welcome!
High counters serve as desks, with all the power outlets you need.
The lounge has a lovely view over the tarmac thanks to its large windows, which let in plenty of light. That view from the lounge is genuinely enjoyable!
For food, you can settle at one of the square tables for two or at the central bar. And a buffet has everything you need for a good start to the day.
This Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge has everything you want before a flight: quiet, plenty of space to rest or work, good natural light and views over the tarmac, a decent buffet. In short, a pleasant lounge before setting off for the United States.
