The loyalty program moi (formerly known as metro&moi) competes with other grocery loyalty programs such as IGA’s Scene+ or Maxi’s PC Optimum.

It’s easy to use because it’s a rebate of dollars that can only be reinvested on groceries at any participating Métro, Jean Coutu, Super C, Brunet and Première Moisson stores.

Earning moi points
The first 500 “Moi” points earned earn $4 in rewards, and each additional 125 points earns an additional $1.
The value of a Métro point is evaluated at 0.8 cent (0.8%), which places it in the average range of regular point currencies on eligible grocery products. We can say that 100 MOI points has a value of 80 cents.
In comparison, IGA gives a 1% return by converting Scene+ points into dollars (1,000 points = $10 discount at checkout).
Every pre-tax dollar spent equals 1 MOI point.
Bonus points are also offered every week during promotions on various items in store and are accumulated on your bill upon purchase. In addition to this, you will find personalized coupons on the mobile application.
You can earn bonus points in four different ways:
- On specific products identified in the store or in the flyer.
- On specific quantities of products identified in the store or in the flyer.
- Through promotional offers and coupons, such as “Get 20 bonus points with any total purchase of $75 or more”.
- With special multiplier offers available on coupons, such as “Double your points with any total purchase of $75 or more”.
These different options allow you to accumulate bonus points in the Moi program.
How do I redeem and use Moi points?
When you reach a minimum of 500 points ($4), you can redeem them at any participating store to reduce your shopping bill.
All you need to do is ask the person at the checkout or self-service checkout when you pay.
The interest of shopping at Metro also lies in the fact that the store accepts American Express credit cardswhose American Express Cobalt™ Card or the Scotiabank Gold American Express® Card that offer 5 times points per dollar spent in grocery stores.

What's the Moi program?
The Moi program is the loyalty program of:

How do I sign up for the MOI / Metro&moi program?
Here are three options for joining the Moi program:
- If you are already a member of metro&moi, no action is required on your part, your membership is automatic.
- You can join online at programme.ca or via the application of your favourite store (participating supermarket or pharmacy).
- You can also register in-store by providing a phone number or email address. You will be given a card and then you will need to complete your membership on programmemoi.ca or via the app by following the instructions sent via text message or email to link your card to your account.
What is the value of a ME / Metro&me point? How to calculate Moi points?
1 MOI point has a value of 0.8 cent.
So 100 MOI points is equivalent to 80 cents.
For example, if a product has 50 bonus Moi points, its value is 40 cents (0.008 cent X 50).
How does the Moi loyalty program work?
With the moi program, reward vouchers have been replaced by instant rewards at checkout. Once you have earned a minimum of 500 points ($4.00), you can redeem them at any participating store to reduce your purchase price. The rules of the program are as follows:
- Each dollar spent (before taxes) earns you 1 point.
- 125 points can be redeemed for $1.
- You must register online to take advantage of the program’s benefits, including instant redemption of points.
- It is possible to partially redeem your points; you are not required to redeem all of your points to make a purchase.
- Points never expire and can be redeemed at any time.
- The digital card on the app is accessible at all times and can be used at all participating stores.
Please note that when presenting your moi card, points are calculated on the total amount spent before taxes and do not include products specified in the program rules.
How do I link my card to my Moi account?

How can I find out my account balance?
You can check your points balance in real-time by logging into your account on different platforms:
- On programme.ca;
- On the websites of the participating brands;
- On the mobile applications of the participating brands;
- You can also check your point balance on transaction receipts (paper and digital) and at the cash register in store.
At which stores in Quebec, Ontario and New Brunswick can I earn points and redeem my Moi Rewards?
You can collect and redeem points at all participating stores in Quebec, including Metro (except Metro Coop Fermont), Super C, Jean Coutu, Brunet and Première Moisson.
In Ontario and New Brunswick, the Moi program is available exclusively at Jean Coutu pharmacies.
When can I start earning and redeeming points?
You start earning points as soon as you join online (or pre-join in-store). You earn points on your purchases*. Once you reach a minimum of 500 points ($4), you can redeem them at any participating store to reduce your purchase price.

Can I request additional cards for family members?
Each card is individual and it is possible to have only one member per Moi account. However, you have the option of linking multiple cards to your account. If you would like to get an additional card for a loved one, please submit an application for a new card by clicking HERE.
Are there any products that are not eligible for points allocation?
Most items available in-store and online earn points*. However, the following items are excluded: tobacco products, lottery tickets, transportation tickets, gift cards, gift certificates, prepaid phone cards, stamps, postal services, cleaning services, movie and game rentals, bottle and can deposits, SAQ wine and spirit agency products, delivery charges and donations.
Please note that some restrictions may apply depending on the terms of the program.
Where can I find bonus moi points with the Moi card?
There are four ways to earn bonus points:
- On specific products indicated in the store or in the flyer.
- On specific quantities of products identified in the store or in the flyer.
- Through promotional offers and coupons, for example: “Get 20 bonus points for any total purchase of $75 or more”.
- By taking advantage of special multiplying offers mentioned on the coupons, for example: “Double your points for any total purchase of $75 or more”.
These different methods allow you to earn additional bonus points in the Moi program.
Can I transfer points or rewards to another member?
It is not possible to transfer your points or rewards to another member. However, if someone you know has an additional card linked to your account, they will be able to earn and redeem points with that card on your account.
Can I collect and redeem points with the online ordering service?
Yes, you can collect and redeem points using the online ordering services at Metro and Super C. However, please note that Jean Coutu, Brunet and Première Moisson do not currently offer this feature.
When's the next metro reward?
There’s no need to wait! Moi points are available for redemption at any time, provided youhave at least 500 Moi points in your account.
As of May 2, 2023, it will no longer be possible to use reward vouchers. Unused vouchers will be automatically converted into points and credited to your Moi account. You can then redeem these points for instant rewards at checkout.
How do I redeem and use Moi points?
Have your Moi card swiped at the checkout after you’ve passed your items. Then ask the cashier to take your points to get your discount.
Note that you need at least 500 Moi points to redeem for this to work.
