The Benefits Selection

The Aeroplan benefits selection is a 2-step process.

As an Aeroplan 35k member, here are the choices offered in the first step:

  • 10 eUpgrade credits
  • 35% bonus Aeroplan points with Air Canada and select airline partners
Privilege Aeroplan 1 Fr

Here, I have chosen the 10 eUpgrade credits that can also be used for Aeroplan flight rewards.

Here are the choices in the second step:

  • 1,000 Status Qualifying Miles for eligible Flight Pass activities
  • 6 eUpgrades Credits for eligible Flight Pass activities
Privilege Aeroplan 2 Fr

This second choice requires the purchase of an Air Canada Flight Pass. It’s less interesting to me, and I doubt I’ll enjoy it this year. Whatever happens, I still prefer eUpgrades to SQM.

Once the choices have been made and validated, you will not be able to go back on your decision.

Here are the choices available based on your Aeroplan Elite status:

Non-eligible sources are all base and bonus points earned with:

  • Credit cards welcome bonuses
  • Points conversions
  • Aeroplan Points purchases
  • Gifts or Transfers

To get an Aeroplan 25K Elite status, it is up to you to take full advantage of the promotions offered via the Aeroplan eStore.
