The history of Palladium Hotel Group begins in Ibiza, when businessman Abel Matutes Juan opened his first two hotels in the late 1960s. His vision was based on three pillars: luxury, quality, and high-end service. The group expanded to the Balearic Islands, then to the Canary Islands in the 1980s.
In the 1990s, Fiesta Hotels & Resorts—the original name—launched its first resorts in the Caribbean, in Playa Bávaro (Dominican Republic). In 2000, the group opened its first property in Italy (Sicily). Two years later, the Palladium Hotels & Resorts brand was born with the opening of two resorts in Riviera Maya.
In 2004, the chain adopted the name Fiesta Hotel Group and segmented its properties into distinct brands. In 2012, the group officially changed its name to Palladium Hotel Group, in reference to its five-star Caribbean resorts. The goal: to affirm a philosophy of excellence and accelerate its international development.
In 2020, the group created Palladium Gestión S.L. to separate real estate management from hotel operations. This restructuring marked a new strategic phase, with the launch that same year of the Palladium Rewards loyalty program.
Palladium Hotel Group organizes its properties under several brands, each targeting a specific segment. Here is an overview of the main brands.

Launched in 2020, Palladium Rewards is the loyalty program of Palladium Hotel Group. Enrollment is free and open to anyone 18 years and older. Upon enrollment, you receive 2,500 Elite and Rewards points. The program operates with two types of points and five status tiers.
Palladium Rewards uses two distinct currencies. Understanding the difference is essential to progress effectively in the program.
Direct bookings (website or call center) earn both Rewards points and Elite points. Bookings through a tour operator earn Elite points only.
Palladium Rewards has 5 tiers. You advance by accumulating Elite points through your stays, meals, and treatments.
All members receive a guaranteed 5% discount on bookings via the official website or call center. Additionally, each tier provides access to exclusive promotions reserved for members.
You earn points in three ways: direct bookings, indirect bookings, and on-site spending (restaurants and spa).
A booking on palladiumhotelgroup.com or through the call center earns Elite points and Rewards points for every euro or dollar spent.
Bookings made through a tour operator or travel agency earn Elite points per night. However, they do not earn Rewards points.
Your spending at restaurants and spas also earns points, whether you are staying at the hotel or not. The rate is the same as for direct bookings: 12 to 18 points per euro or dollar spent, depending on your tier.
You can use your Rewards points to pay for hotel nights, meals, or spa treatments. The conversion rate is 250 Rewards points = €1 or $1 US. You must redeem a minimum of 2,500 points per transaction.
If your points do not cover the full amount, you can combine points and cash. Bookings with points are made exclusively via the website or call center.
Here are the starting prices per night per adult for a stay paid with Rewards points. These rates vary by occupancy, dates, and room category.
The Webcome Package is a set of exclusive benefits for Palladium Rewards members who book via the official website or call center. It applies to hotels located in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Brazil.
Beyond the Webcome Package, here are the other benefits available to all members, regardless of tier.
The Palladium Travel Club is the group’s exclusive membership program, designed for frequent travelers seeking the best in all-inclusive. This membership provides access to the Family tier in Palladium Rewards, the highest tier in the program.
Travel Club members enjoy benefits that go beyond the standard loyalty program. Membership allows you to obtain discounts of up to 53% on rates at Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts in Mexico, Brazil, and the Caribbean.
