The Ben, Autograph Collection, West Palm Beach is an impressive building in West Palm Beach. It is rather easy to park nearby (paid parking).
The lobby area is beautiful with nice seating areas.
Near the lobby, you will find vending machines for basic necessities.
The kids loved the sculpting dogs (present in various places in the hotel).
In this hotel, there is no card to open the room door, but a bracelet:
The corridors of the hotel are chic. Our room was the 232.
Travelling with two children, the choice of a room with two queen beds is essential. Since we booked at the last minute, and the hotel was very busy, we haven’t been upgraded.
It is a standard room… without a view (the window is on a wall).
The bathroom has a large shower.
Arriving in the evening, we decided to have dinner at Proper Grit Restaurant, the “signature” restaurant located on the first floor of The Ben, Autograph Collection, West Palm Beach
We enjoyed a delicious meal and cocktails and appreciated the drawings offered to our children.
Breakfast is served in the same Proper Grit restaurant.
The room being quite busy, we chose to take it on the terrace (which also serves as a bar in the evening).
Here is the brunch menu:
As a Marriott Bonvoy Elite member (Platinum level and above), specific dishes are offered for free for breakfast.
We have chosen :
And for the kids, it was Short Stack Pancakes:
On the left is the “Elite” bill (complimentary breakfast for 2 people) and on the right is the one for the children.
If you have drinks at your hotel’s bars and restaurants, don’t forget to charge these expenses to your room bill, earning up to 17.5 points per dollar based on your Marriott Bonvoy status!

The pool is located on the roof of The Ben, Autograph Collection, West Palm Beach, on the 8th floor (where the hotel’s other restaurant Proper Cut is also located).
The pool is a nice size and offers views of West Palm Beach and its marina.
When we were there, there were a lot of people and electronic music. The submerged deckchairs are very pleasant!
On the first floor, you will find the hotel’s gym.
During our stay at The Ben, Autograph Collection, West Palm Beach, we visited the surrounding area, including Palm Beach, taking advantage of the famous bicycle path.
Here are some activities recommended by Viator for this destination:
The Ben, Autograph Collection, West Palm Beach is of a good standard. Fortunately we were able to use Marriott Bonvoy points to stay there, as the cash rate was quite high compared to the amenities.
