On a flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg on Mango (in economy class), we went with our family to this lounge Bidvest Premier Lounge at Cape Town Airport.
Audrey and I each have an American Express Card from PlatinumMD. This card gives us a free Priority Pass membership as well as unlimited access to airport lounges for the cardholder AND one guest.
So, each of us can enter for free with our children. Since my mom was traveling with us, I let her in using one of the 6 accesses offered by my Scotiabank Passport™ Visa Infinite* Card.
Technically, it has to be in the name of the holder of the card (i.e. me) then one of his guests (but here, I entered with another Priority Pass subscription). But hey… as often, the employees close their eyes 😉
This lounge is divided into 2 floors, and we easily found a place to sit.
We particularly like the bay windows overlooking the tarmac.
Here are the different spaces to relax or work:
On the first floor of the lounge, you will find the buffet, composed of many small international snacks:
Less garnished than the one we tested in Johannesburg, this buffet remains correct.
On the second floor there are mainly drinks.
An excellent lounge in this terminal for domestic flights from Cape Town airport! I highly recommend it!
