To the point Flying Blue now offers a monthly subscription as an easy way to earn Miles, at a fixed cost.

Flying Blue Monthly Subscription for Miles

Flying Blue has announced a new way to earn Miles, with a monthly subscription!

All you have to do is choose your package, and the Miles will accumulate on a recurring basis in your Flying Blue account, without you having to think about it.

You can choose 1 of 4 packages:

  • US 34.20 for 2,000 Miles per month (1.71 cents USD/Mile)
  • US 79.00 for 5,000 Miles per month (1.58 cents USD/Mile)
  • US 146.00 for 10,000 Miles per month (1.46 cents USD/Mile)
  • US 227.80 for 17,000 Miles per month (1.34 cents USD/Mile)

In addition, with this subscription the account will remain active and these Miles will not expire. Another feature of the program is its flexibility, as the subscription can be stopped at any time.

Regardless of Flying Blue status, all members can subscribe. As soon as you do, Miles appear in your account within minutes and are ready to be redeemed.

Please note that Canadians must add sales tax and foreign currency conversion charges.

Bottom Line

This monthly Miles subscription can be a practical and flexible solution for Flying Blue members who want to earn Miles on a regular basis and at a fixed cost. It simplifies Miles accumulation by automating it, and helps you reach your Flying Blue reward goals faster.

However, we advise you to carefully assess whether this type of subscription is worthwhile, or whether it would be better to take advantage of buying Miles during a Flying Blue Miles promotion. These are recurrent and can sometimes be quite lucrative. You can also follow our guide to help you earn Flying Blue Miles on all your purchases, with the help of the Flying Blue online shopping portal.

For the French, the ideal is to accompany your purchases with an Air France KLM American Express card. For Canadians, a good strategy is to use an American Express card that accumulates Membership Rewards points, which can then be transferred to Flying Blue.
