Thanks to a promotion, you can get 100% bonus Hilton Honors points when buying points until December 31, 2025.
This is a recurring promotion that comes up often. The last one ended in November 2025 and also offered a 100% points bonus.
You can purchase up to 240,000 Hilton Honors points and earn 240,000 bonus points in a single transaction as part of this promotion. The cost will be $2,400 USD, or 0.5 US cents per point.
A minimum of 5,000 points must be purchased to benefit, and sales tax is added to the transaction.
For Canadians, Hilton Honors points are hard to come by. In fact, only the American Express Membership Rewards program allows you to transfer points to the Hilton Honors program, with a transfer rate of 1:1.
For example, 30,000 Membership Rewards points can be transferred into 30,000 Hilton Honors points.
Then there are three solutions:
We advise against buying points at their normal price, as it is much more advantageous to do so during bonus promotions, as is currently the case.

The transaction will be carried out in US dollars. We recommend using a card that does not charge foreign transaction fees to avoid paying 2.5% in additional fees on the total amount:
Note that points are purchased on Points.com, a site external to Hilton Honors. Therefore, this transaction does not count as a “travel” expense for Hilton Honors card benefits.
The answer to this question is yes… but only in certain situations:
Here is a concrete example where buying points is advantageous: a hotel near a very popular music festival, Untold in Romania.
For 5 nights, this hotel costs over 2,000 euros, or approximately $2,200 USD.
Now, buying 60,000 Hilton Honors points (and getting 60,000 bonus points) for 600 USD, it’s possible to book those five nights in the same hotel (4 nights + 1 night free when booking with points).
So buying Hilton Honors points can be interesting for some, whether it’s for a specific travel purpose and/or to top up a points balance for a free night.
However, if you are not in one of these situations, we advise you against buying points. It will be more beneficial to turn :
