American Express has launched a promotion with Chexy, allowing you to earn up to 12,000 Membership Rewards points or Aeroplan points as a bonus during the promotional period from November 18, 2025, to October 31, 2026. You can earn between 6,000 and 12,000 bonus points during the year with Chexy, depending on your American Express card type:

Use your eligible American Express card to pay a bill of at least $1,000 with Chexy, up to twice per month, and earn bonus points based on the following criteria:
If you have an American Express Aeroplan co-branded card, you’ll get Aeroplan points. If you have an American Express card that earns Membership Rewards points, you can keep them as is or transfer them to Aeroplan points.
This way, you’ll earn bonus points in addition to the base points you already earn with your card. For example, for two bill payments of $1,000 or $2,000 during one month:
We value a Membership Reward point at 1.7 cents per point and an Aeroplan point at 2 cents per point. Therefore, the 2,500 Membership Rewards points from the American Express® Gold Rewards Card have a value of $42.50, which offsets the 1.75% transaction fee or $35.
